Although I don’t think it’s true anyway, so I guess it doesn’t male a big difference. The whole “eternal president” thing isn’t “omg the ghost of Kim leads the country!!!” type of shit it’s more of the fact that he was Korea’s first president and that title honors him. It’s the same with the US. George Washington is the head of the armed forces. Above the current president, I believe. Yeah. Same with Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. He’s called the “eternal commander” of socialism and is propagandized throughout the whole country.
